Level 2 Engineer

Krenz & Company, Inc., is seeking a Level 2 Engineer to work at our Germantown, WI headquarters. The Level 2 Engineer will be involved in : New Product Development / Improvement : - Design and test transformer cooling fans. Manufacturing : - Design and optimize new manufacturing equipment.- Programing of new and existing CNC equipment utilizing G-Code programming, PLC ladder logic, Numalliance programming language, and microprocessor control.- First level diagnosis on all machinery in plant. Quality assurance : - Manage our existing ISO 9001 quality program.- Generate corrective and / or preventative actions per Management or Customer input.- Write task specific work instructions. Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment. Work with production on process and product concerns. Maintaining OSHA log; file yearly with OSHA. Safely operate stand up forklifts and scissor lifts.Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience. As part of the 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience, the individual must have : 5 years of experience managing an ISO 9001 quality system. 5 years of experience with fabrication, milling machines, CNC equipment, and welders. Strong preference will be given to candidates that are fluent in both English and Spanish languages.
