Job Title : Associate Principal, DevOps / Automation Hybrid-Engineer
Location & Type : Chicago, IL – Onsite, 3 Days per Week. Direct Hire. Requires after‑hours support and on‑call rotation 5 PM–7 AM for 3 months per year.
Compensation : $121,500.00 – $194,800.00 (8–15%)

Final base compensation will be determined by client based on experience, skills, and education while maintaining internal equity within the team. Target base $160,000 plus bonus potential.
Summary
The Associate Principal, DevOps / Automation Engineer will join our client’s team, a leader in the financial market and clearing organization industry, supporting automation, CI / CD, and cloud operations across multiple environments.
This role refines and automates SDLC processes, improves deployment pipelines, and maintains AWS‑ and Kubernetes‑based development environments. It also handles troubleshooting, architectural optimization, and cloud operations, ensuring reliability and scalability across the technology landscape.
This position is hybrid in Chicago, collaborating closely with the DevOps leads to design and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency, performance, and automation maturity of the clearing applications.
