Job Title : Robotics Engineer

Job Summary

Gotion is seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robotic systems for our state-of-the-art 40GW battery cell manufacturing facility in Illinois. This role will focus on automating production processes to enhance efficiency, precision, and safety in battery cell assembly. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in robotic programming, integration, and troubleshooting to support Gotions mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and program robotic systems for tasks such as material handling, assembly, and quality inspection in battery cell production.
• Integrate robots with existing manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless operation in a high-volume production environment.
• Optimize robotic workflows to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation solutions tailored to lithium battery manufacturing.
• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades on robotic systems to ensure operational reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80k - $120k + 15% bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
