Job Responsibilities – Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Work closely with Physical Therapists to carry out individualized pediatric treatment plans.
Provide hands-on care and guide children through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and play-based activities.
Track and document patient progress in the electronic health record (EHR).
Educate families on home exercise programs and strategies for continued improvement.
Maintain a safe, organized clinic and prepare therapy equipment.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current PTA license in Texas (or compact eligible).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience :
Pediatric or outpatient therapy experience.
Familiarity with EMR / EHR documentation systems.
Bilingual (English / Spanish).
Additional therapy certifications.
