Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a valued team member in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming environment, working alongside a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation. Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
