Job Title : EMC Design Engineer

Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Duration : 1 Year Contract (with potential extensions)

Start Date : ASAP

We are looking for a highly skilled EMC Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance, testing, and troubleshooting across consumer electronics, medical devices, or automotive systems.

Responsibilities :

• Review mechanical designs of enclosures, connectors, and cables to ensure EMC compliance.
• Analyze PCB schematics and layouts for emissions and immunity control.
• Develop detailed EMC test plans , oversee validation activities, and compile comprehensive test reports.
• Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical sources of EMC failures and propose effective solutions.
• Operate lab equipment such as ESD guns, surge testers, receivers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, VNAs, LISNs, CDNs, amplifiers, and test cables .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver clear, detailed technical reports and documentation .
