We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. In this client-facing role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts—building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and long-term success.
As an Account Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and continued growth within each account.
Key Responsibilities :
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Understand client needs and recommend relevant products or services
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning their goals with our offerings
Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
Address client questions regarding pricing, product availability, features, and terms
Follow up after sales or contract signings to ensure satisfaction and provide ongoing support
Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts to drive growth
Maintain accurate sales records, client documentation, and expense reports
Track market trends, competitor activity, and product developments
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and conferences
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proven experience in account management, customer success, or B2B sales
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong active listening and consultative selling abilities
Skilled in negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving
Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple client relationships
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
