Bid Proposal Coordinator
We are creating a new Bid Proposal Coordinator role to support our government contract division within the agriculture industry. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and comfortable turning complex information into clear, decision-ready summaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor government bidding systems daily and gather all newly released contract opportunities.
- Build and maintain an extensive Excel tracking sheet to organize potential bids and all related details.
- Analyze each opportunity, review requirements, evaluate pricing components, and prepare concise executive summaries for management.
- Partner with executive leadership to determine which bids should advance.
- For approved opportunities, collect and prepare all documents and upload them into the bidding platform accurately.
- Track the status of open bids (typically 13 weeks) and provide consistent status updates to leadership.
- While reviewing new opportunities, also report on the progress of previously submitted proposals.
- Prepare clean, organized Excel reports, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations for internal review.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in bid coordination, proposals, government contracting, or a similar analytical / administrative role.Advanced Excel expertise (formulas, pivot tables, formatting, organization, data review).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and comfort with numbers.Excellent written communication skills for reports and executive summaries.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Experience with government bidding platforms is a plus.Agriculture industry experience is helpful but not required.Important Note
