Dental Treatment Plan & Sales Coordinator

We’re looking for a Dental Treatment Plan & Sales Coordinator — a compassionate communicator with strong sales instincts and at least 1 year of dental experience — who can bridge the gap between clinical excellence and patient understanding.

Key Responsibilities :
Treatment Coordination & Case Acceptance :
Present comprehensive treatment plans clearly and confidently, emphasizing the value and long-term benefits of recommended care.Discuss financial options , assist with insurance questions , and guide patients in choosing flexible solutions.Follow up consistently with patients who have unscheduled or pending treatment plans.Notify patients promptly when pre-estimates return and schedule appointments after confirming financial arrangements.Prepare accurate treatment fee estimates and ensure insurance plans are properly calculated.Support the doctor and clinical team by identifying unscheduled or incomplete treatments for follow-up.Sales & Communication Excellence :
Apply active listening techniques to understand patient concerns and tailor responses.Build rapport, instill trust, and use objection-handling strategies to guide patients toward acceptance.Confidently address financial hesitation, treatment anxiety, or misconceptions with empathy and clarity.Manage conflict situations by staying calm, validating patient feelings, and offering constructive solutions.Maintain accurate records of all conversations, financial discussions, and patient communications in the system.Administrative & Team Support :
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in / check-out with professionalism.Verify insurance eligibility, obtain detailed insurance breakdowns , and accurately input data into Open Dental.Assist in coordinating treatment schedules, consent forms, and pre-authorizations.Ensure insurance and patient information remains current at all times.Support front office operations by assisting with scheduling, phones, and coordination when needed.Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of dental office experience required.Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance plans (PPO, HMO, fee-for-service).Demonstrated experience in sales or case presentation preferred.Skilled in active listening , patient communication, and objection handling.Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills.Proficient with computers; Open Dental knowledge a plus.Punctual, reliable, and proactive team player with attention to detail.Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.Benefits :
