Description :

This is a contract position in a Newborn / Nursery unit.

The schedule is from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

No on-call requirements.

The unit comprises 40 beds with approximately 40 staff members, including RNs and support staff.

Day shift typically has 1 charge nurse and 5 RNs, while night shift has 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs.

Patient ratios range from 1 : 5 to 1 : 6.

The unit employs EMR systems, specifically CPN and Meditech.

Permanent positions are available, mainly on night shifts.

The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker who can work at a fast pace and adapt quickly to changing situations.

Teamwork is essential, making a cooperative attitude a must.

Dress code includes navy blue scrubs.

The unit has standardized order sets and policies accessible via the intranet.
