Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving product flow and throughput, procuring proper equipment and tooling, designing fixtures and dies, and assisting in the development and maintenance plant process and equipment.Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Harrisonville, MO facility.

Role Responsibilities :

Monitors and modifies equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in the production line.

Implements corrective actions.

Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures and bill of materials.

Negotiates final design to ensure manufacturability and product requirements. Conducts testing and evaluation of products and processes.

Conducts studies for process and product improvements.

Develops analyses and testing procedures to anticipate any potential process or product failure.

Conducts studies to improve plan layout, production line efficiency and production line control.

Contributes to product failure mode and effects analyses.

Manages product or process development projects.

Collaborates on technical program objectives and product specifications that meet marketing and manufacturing needs.

Recommends and employs new equipment.

Provides technical support to developers to ensure manufacturability of developed products and processes.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree

CAD or SolidWorks experience

Relocation : This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
