We are Siemens Mobility Customer Services! Due to the amount of work we have in the booming transportation industry, we have a position for an Electrical Engineering co-op in our organization. Our group is responsible for the engineering of modifications, modernizations and upgrades for all of our trains and other rail vehicles.

Siemens Customer Service is seeking a co-op student in Electrical Engineering. This position will gain exciting real-world engineering experience at a thriving company.

We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Documentelectrical modifications related to the overhaul of rail vehicles

Reviewvehicle schematics to assist in root cause analysis of issues

Createschematics for train subsystems and bench test equipment

Assistin rail vehicle modification electrical designs

Supportin the technical bid of maintenance and overhaul projects

Who Should Apply?

Education / Majors : Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA / BS from anaccredited college or university and majoring in Electrical Engineeringwith a strong technical or analytical aptitude

WorkAuthorization : Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited Staes without the need for current or future employer-sponsoredwork authorization

Priorinternship or co-op experience (preferred) with a preferred cumulative GPAof 3.0

Stronganalytical, writing. presentation, and critical-thinking skills

Industryknowledge and / or interest

Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.
