Job Summary :
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be hands-on in inspecting manufactured parts in a fast-paced ceramics production environment. Your role involves identifying visual and dimensional defects using magnification tools and ensuring compliance with strict quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities :
Interpret and follow written work instructions, technical drawings, and SOPs to ensure compliance with product specifications.Identify nonconforming materials and escalate findings as per SOPs and regulatory standards.Conduct detailed visual inspections using magnification tools to detect defects in ceramic parts.Accurately maintain records of defects in a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure data integrity.Collaborate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring defects or process gaps.Ensure quality inspection areas are neat and compliant with 6S standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control laws.Education : High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.Experience : Minimum of 1+ years in a production or quality control role is preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct prolonged inspections under magnification.High dexterity for detailed work on small components.Ability to work independently with precision.Familiarity with SOPs and inspection documentation is advantageous.Skills & Abilities :
Proficient in understanding and following work instructions in English.Capability to engage with engineers to develop and execute experiments.Experience in highly regulated environments like pharmaceutical or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.Ability to pass vision and hearing tests as part of the pre-employment assessment.Comfort in a manufacturing production setting.Capacity to perform work using fine visual inspection tools for extended periods.Adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage is required.Ability to carefully handle and transport delicate manufactured parts.Working Environment :
