Maintenance Assistant Manager

The Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager will be the contact person between vendors, contractors, operations, and the customer as it pertains to maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and other supporting functions. In this role, this person will liaise and lead a small team that will collaborate and coordinate with onsite and offsite vendors / contractors on items pertaining to the operation. This person will create, maintain records, and schedule plans / projects in line with safety, OSHA, and Glovis EV standards.

Department : Consolidation Center (CC) / Maintenance

Reports to : Operations Manager

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 6 : 00AM-4 : 00PM) (Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)

Location : Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308

Responsibilities for a Maintenance Assistant Manager :

• Oversee the process of subcontractor and vendor selection and management.
• Advise management on improvements for optimal operational efficiency regarding equipment and mechanical / electrical related functions.
• Act as a point of contact for all maintenance related functions and issues including contract management, vendor management, and rental / lease agreement management for any logistical equipment us by Glovis EV or its affiliated contractors.
• Drive operational sustainability by managing assigned internal recycling programs, such as returnable containers, corrugate, packaging scrap, and other areas.
• Evaluate current vendor management programs and identify ways to improve tracking for vendor / contractor KPIs and metrics.
• Oversee the maintenance, modification, and improvement of plant equipment and automation processes, working with vendors to drive quick resolution to support operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

The estimated base salary range for the Maintenance Assistant Manager is $80,000-$86,000.  The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
