Job Description

Fibertek is a leading developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to lasers for atmospheric sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Mechanical Engineering Department onsite in Herndon, VA. As part of the Mechanical Engineering project team, you will design and develop complex laser and electro-optical systems for military and / or aerospace applications. Duties include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, analyzing systems, initiating procurements, supporting assembly and testing of systems, preparing technical reports, and participating in design review meetings.
