Local steel company seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Specialist. Must be hard working and reliable with dependable transportation. Must have technical computer skills.

Pay : $18 per hour

Shift : 1st, 7am- 5pm

• Must be able to greet visitors at the reception
• Must be able to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to provide administrative support : answer call, emails, filing, data entry, scanning
• Must be able to read and interpret customer instructions to ensure proper work is performed
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Must be tech savvy- able to use a computer
• Must have the ability to read Elcometer to collect mill readings
• Must have ability to coordinate with other departments to meet customer expectations and deadlines
• Must have attention to detail with strong emphasis on accuracy
• Assist and ensure bundle count and bundle tagging accuracy
• Cycle counting
• Must be able to prepare orders for shipment, complete all paperwork, and ensure accuracy of the order to ship
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, a plus
