Procurement Engineer Staff

We are seeking a Procurement Engineer Staff for the Upper Tier Integrated Air Missile Defense (UTIAMD) Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. Our team is responsible for reducing risk within the supply base and driving program success through strategic sourcing, requirements management, and supplier capacity modeling.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Procurement Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the GSC team, primarily supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. You will focus on driving requirements management efforts, risk and opportunity management, and identifying affordability opportunities to support program needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading process improvement and corrective action activities, such as controlled builds and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analyses
• Facilitating Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Purchase Order (PO) Kickoff
• Creating and validating supplier capacity models to inform procurement decisions
• Supporting GSC operations team and various initiatives to contribute to team success
