Executive Chef - Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza
Millennium Hilton One UN Plaza is looking for a talented Executive Chef to lead the team. Boasting 439 rooms, 7,500 square feet of meeting space and four food & beverage options, this Midtown high-rise hotel is located near the United Nations and a half a mile from Grand Central Station.
What will I be doing?
- Direct and oversee all culinary operations, including production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
- Create and implement new menus and individual menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
- Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction trends, evaluate issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Perform general management duties including systems management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management and meeting participation
- Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, scheduling, evaluations and recognition
- Recruit, interview and train team members

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Work Location : Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza.
