Base pay range $42.96 / hr - $42.96 / hr

Responsibilities

• Design and validate brake tubes, brake hoses, and wheel speed sensors to meet system and vehicle-level functional objectives.
• Manage release of components, including bill of materials, CAD drawings, design verification plans, physical testing, supplier management, and issue resolution.
• Interface with Vehicle Engineering, suppliers, Purchasing, Quality, and Assembly Plants.
• Manage product performance to meet functional, cost, and weight targets.
• Perform product release and change management processes.
• Direct packaging in vehicle environment.
• Manage supplier and internal DVPRs and DFMEAs.
• Support AQP, PSO, product launch, and ongoing maintenance of carryover product.
• Be responsible for design and release of designated components.
• Develop and refine routings for brake tubes, brake hoses, and wheel speed sensors, considering functional, safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
