Job descriptionIndependently perform a variety of interventional procedures including : Paracentesis Thoracentesis Lumbar punctures Myelograms Fluoroscopy exams Breast needle localizations Arthrocentesis (joint aspiration) PICC line placements Collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams Manage pre- and post-procedure patient care and follow-up Accurately document all procedures and patient care plans Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout procedures Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed to practice in Nevada Graduation from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferred ARRT certification highly desirable Minimum one year of Interventional Radiology (IR) technical experience, with references BLS certification required Prior radiology or interventional radiology experience essential Demonstrated ability to perform listed procedures independently Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
