Role Overview
ATLAS is seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to support the evaluation and execution of multifamily acquisition opportunities. The role focuses on underwriting and analytical support across transactions from initial evaluation through closing, with an emphasis on value-add and core-plus multifamily investments.
The Analyst / Senior Analyst will contribute to investment decisions through detailed analysis, assumption-setting, and execution support, working closely with senior investment professionals across active acquisitions.
Responsibilities :
Underwriting & Financial Analysis
- Support investment underwriting for multifamily acquisition opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
- Evaluate key assumptions related to rents, operating expenses, capital expenditures, financing, and exit scenarios.
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess risk and returns.
- Support preparation of internal and external investment materials, underwriting summaries, and acquisition memoranda.
Market Research & Due Diligence
Research and analyze multifamily market fundamentals, including rents, vacancy, absorption, comparable sales, cap rates, and supply pipelines.Support due diligence on acquisitions, including review of rent rolls, historical operating statements, and capital expenditure assumptions.Review and analyze third-party diligence reports, including PCAs, engineering, environmental, survey, and title materials.Track diligence items and closing deliverables to support efficient transaction execution.Maintain organized underwriting and diligence materials across active transactions.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time experience in multifamily acquisitions, multifamily development, investment banking, or a related analytical role.Prior exposure to underwriting multifamily acquisition opportunities.Strong understanding of multifamily fundamentals, operating metrics, and value drivers.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Why ATLAS
