Family Practice / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job description :

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability assessments for Veterans applying for their VA benefits. This role allows you to make a difference without the demands of treatment or prescribing just focused, high-quality evaluations.

Position Details :

• Located in Plattsburgh, NY
• 3 Days per week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
• See 3 to 5 Veterans daily
• Daily rate : $550
• No treatment or medication management involved
• Experience with assessments is helpful but not required
• Must hold an active, unrestricted state license

Role Overview :

Your day begins with reviewing each Veteran's medical history, with a focus on information relevant to their disability claims. You will conduct thorough evaluations that support Veterans in obtaining the benefits they've earned.
