We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the education industry, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial planning and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling and data analysis, along with advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to assist in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate business performance and identify trends.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against forecasts and budgets, identifying key drivers.
• Utilize advanced Excel formulas and data mining techniques to gather and analyze large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to present financial data in a clear and actionable format.
• Monitor financial metrics and KPIs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Support management in strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions, including formulas and data manipulation.
• Power BI and / or SQL experience desired.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience conducting variance analysis and preparing financial forecasts.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and their application in financial analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
