Tier 2 – Senior Preparer / Consultant

Overview : This tier includes preparers and consultants with intermediate-level experience, who can independently manage most individual and small business tax returns with moderate complexity.

Qualifications :

• 2–5 years of experience in tax preparation and / or consulting
• May hold a CPA, EA, or be actively pursuing certification
• Independently prepares moderately complex returns (Schedule C, E, partnerships, S-Corps)
• Begins providing tax planning support with guidance
• Reviews Tier 1 staff work and assists with training
• Demonstrates strong client communication and issue resolution skills

Tier 3 – Lead Tax Consultant / Manager (Salaried Position)

Overview : Tier 3 staff are salaried professionals with high technical proficiency and responsibility. They lead client engagements, perform advanced consulting, and supervise preparers.
