Civil Engineering Department Manager

Job Description

Engineering firm that's been in business for decades is looking for a Civil Engineer Department Manager for their Parsippany, New Jersey office!

Responsibilities :

• Develop / manage Civil Engineering team
• Restructure department to operate effectively in various markets
• Oversee project design
• Coordinate multi-discipline project tasks for site development projects
• Develop site layout / design (site grading / storm drainage, roadway, water / sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control)
• Ensure high quality projects are completed on time and on budget
• Perform project administration duties
• Coordinate project with other departments
• Establish financial performance goals
• Develop annual business plan to assist in the firm's growth
• Build / maintain client relationships

Requirements :

Salary is commensurate with experience.
