Compensation : $125-145,000 (annually) with an employee benefits package and bonus opportunity.

General Job Description : Our client is seeking an accomplished 1st Line of Defense Senior Audit Manager – Internal Audit to lead and elevate the internal audit function for a dynamic financial services organization. In this leadership role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of audit activities — from annual planning and risk assessments to execution, reporting, and continuous risk monitoring. You will direct teams through operational, regulatory, and risk-focused audits, while also performing hands-on fieldwork and delivering valuable insights to senior leadership. As a trusted advisor to the business, you’ll help strengthen internal controls, support strategic decision-making, and foster the growth and development of audit talent within the team.

Job Requirements :

• Experience leading audit teams, managing full audit engagements, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership
• 8+ years of audit experience in financial services, with expertise in both internal and external audit environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings and manage multiple priorities
• Experience mentoring and developing junior auditors while actively contributing to hands-on audit work
