|Tennessee Radius Rule : 25-mile radius Assignment Details Start Date : ASAP Shift : 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM (12-hour nights) Schedule : Every other weekend required Block Scheduling : May be considered based on unit needs Call : No on-call required Position Summary The Trauma / Surgical Critical Care RN provides high-acuity bedside care to critically ill trauma and post-operative surgical patients.
Nurses in this role collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the critical care team to manage ventilators, titrate drips, and respond to rapid or code situations.Patient & Unit Details Specialty :
Trauma / Surgical Critical Care Unit (ICU setting) Environment : Fast-paced, high-acuity trauma and surgical population Requirements Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent trauma, surgical ICU, or comparable critical care experience Certifications : Tennessee RN License or Compact License (active and in hand) BLS – American Heart Association ACLS – American Heart Association Pending Licenses : Not accepted RTO / Holidays : Must be willing to work a share of holidays within contract period Special Notes No license or background issues accepted Facility prioritizes candidates with strong critical care assessment and ventilator management skills Documentation proficiency required; experience with trauma-level charting systems preferred Powered by JazzHR
