About The Position

Experience : Minimum 1-2 years of medical-surgical or acute care experience required, plus 1 year of home care experience required.

License : Valid State License required.

Certifications : BLS and phlebotomy required.

Must-Have : Ortho experience required.

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse for home health services.

The clinician will typically make 5-20 visits per day.

Daily productivity is based on a point system, with an average of 5.2 points required daily.

The role includes various point of care visits such as wound care, IV therapy, and post-surgical assessments.

Candidates should have experience with wound vacs, glucometers, and central lines.

Patient education will be a significant part of the role, covering medications, wound care, and ADLs.

Every third to fourth weekend coverage will be required as needed.

On-call duties will be required after hours and on weekends.

Clinical nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy experience in a home setting is beneficial.

The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Clinicians will be assigned to specific zip code areas, but may assist in other areas as required.

Mileage reimbursement is available for travel.

This position is not accepting pending licenses.

References are preferred at the time of application.

Each candidate’s experience will be reviewed to ensure appropriate placement.

The position requires documentation proficiency, with experience in an electronic charting system preferred.
