Job Description
The Client Intake Specialist manages the firm's client engagement process, including running conflicts checks, evaluating submissions of client and matter information, and enforcing file opening policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience running and assessing conflicts checks within a law firm, knowledge of specific software such as InTapp and Aderant, and exude strong communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
Responsibilities :
- Review electronic client / matter submissions through Aderant Expert and Intapp, ensuring data quality control and matter approval.
- Perform conflict searches and evaluate results for conflicts of interest.
- Collaborate with Legal Administrative Assistants, Attorneys, and firm management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Draft and send engagement letters to clients.
- Track engagement letters for countersignatures and save them in the firm's electronic document management system.
- Communicate potential issues and possible improvements regarding the engagement process to management.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent work experience may be substituted.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Law firm experience and knowledge of conflict-of-interest interpretation highly preferred.Experience with Aderant Expert, Intapp, DocuSign and / or Adobe Sign, and NetDocuments preferred.Apply now for consideration.
