Overview

As a Structural E ngineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be given the opportunity to perform engineering tasks that will help develop your engineering skillset while supporting our project teams on a variety of industrial and manufacturing facility projects. During your internship with CEC, you will be developing 3D design models as well as performing various tasks such as discipline calculations, specifications , sketches, and drawings. You will also have the opportunity to work and coordinate with various disciplines including Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and Geotechnical.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will :

Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations;

• Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities;
• Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges; and
• Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.
