Laboratory Supervisor – Blood Bank

Job descriptionSupervise daily operations of the Blood Bank department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of testing and reporting Oversee staffing schedules, performance, and training of lab personnel Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including CLIA, CAP, and state requirements Perform bench work as needed and ensure adherence to laboratory protocols Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives Coordinate with leadership to uphold high standards of patient care and safety Provide mentorship and leadership to laboratory technologists and technicians Ensure proper documentation and reporting within the lab information system Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed for uninterrupted operations Ensure readiness for inspections and audits by regulatory bodies Schedule : Monday–Friday, 3 : 00pm–11 : 30pm with rotating weekends

Must Have Skills :
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technologist / Technician
- Previous Senior or Lead Technologist experience preferred
- Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state laboratory regulations
