Blood Bank Specialist

Under the direction of the supervisor, coordinates the operation of the blood bank section of the Clinical Laboratory. Duties include but are not limited to : selection, orientation and training of staff, quality control activities, quality improvement activities and the capability to perform all testing of donors and patients. Requires a BS / BA and MT(ASCP) with 5 years of experience in all technical phases of transfusion service operation including advanced antibody investigations and crossmatch techniques.
