Medical Assistant I
Shift : Day
Employment Status : Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period : 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt) Starting Wage DOE : $17.00-21.25
Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant I is key in supporting patient care and treatment while providing administrative and clerical assistance. This role requires effective collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and other healthcare team members to address the physical, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. The Medical Assistant I is essential in ensuring smooth clinical operations and contributing to a high standard of patient care in various healthcare settings.
