- Supervise the delivery of nursing care and services during assigned shifts to ensure high standards of patient care.\n
- Oversee staffing and assignments, ensuring appropriate clinical personnel are present and supported.\n
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and resources for nursing staff.\n
- Monitor and promote quality care initiatives, compliance, and patient safety procedures.\n
- Serve as a role model and mentor to clinical staff, celebrating progress and patient milestones.\n\nKey Requirements for the Nurse Manager : \n
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license).\n
- BLS certification (ACLS required within one year).\n
- CRRN certification required within one year of eligibility.\n
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred (BSN).\n
- At least 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the past 5 years.\n
- Previous leadership experience such as charge nurse or similar role with responsibilities for supervision, performance, and team development.\n\nCompensation and Schedule for the Nurse Manager : \n
- Annual salary range : $100,000 – $125,000, depending on experience and credentials\n
- $10,000 sign-on bonus\n
- Full-time, day shift schedule : Five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday\n
- Nurse-to-patient ratio : 1 : 8 AM & 1 : 9 PM\n
