ICU Step-Down - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• ASN completion required

Requirements :

40 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Skills / Experience : Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS / Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required. Must have a strong MS / Tele background. Required Hard Skills : Telemetry monitoring IV insertion and management Central line care Medication administration. Basic tracheostomy care and stable ventilator management.

Preferred Skills / Experience : Ventilator. Post-cardiac surgery experience. Post-surgical experience.

Required Credentials : CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours. Telemetry.

Preferred Credentials : Education : BSN.

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit :

Technology Used on Unit : EMR documentation (Epic or similar) required.

Unit / Facility Details : ICU Step-Down. OR experience not necessary. This is a floor nurse position on a stepdown unit.

Special Requests : No Block Scheduling requests.

Shift & Scheduling : Every Other Weekend Required (Saturday & Sunday).

Floating Requirements : Within Facility to Like Units. May float within stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed based on unit census
