We are on the hunt for a motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst able to play a key role in the Finance department.

The manufacturing organization is experiencing growth, and this senior position will work with the financial team to enhance the financial department and help the company make well-informed decisions based on company financial analysis and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis for Various teams, including ad hoc modeling and analysis in order to achieve business and company goals.
  • Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making
  • Maintain financial forecasts for the business and track key variances.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and semi-annual forecast, including operational budgets
  • Analyze and interpret variance fluctuations between actual, budget, forecast, and prior year, focusing on developing business trends
  • Design and create weekly, monthly, quarterly dashboards to help monitor and identify key business trends. Handle and organize department materials including business plans and overview.
  • Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements within established deadlines
  • Consolidation of North America legal entities including inter-company eliminations
  • Financial support and analysis for product management and operations teams
  • Work instruction documentation (SOP’s)

Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of related experience in a Manufacturing or Service industry
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Accounting principles and familiarity with corporate financial reporting.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
