Job Title : Medical Receptionist
Department : Pulmonology
This is a travel position. Candidate must be able to work in Brandon, Temple Terrace, and Wesley Chapel experience in a medical setting preferred.
This is a travel position. Candidates are required to travel to Brandon, Temple Terrace and Wesley Chapel throughout the week.

Keys to Success in this Role :
- Update patient demographics
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Prepare referrals and authorizations for Managed Care patients
- Assist providers and patients at the conclusion of the visit
- Perform incidental duties as needed
Physical and Mental Demands :
- Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
- Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous customer service experience required
- Experience in a medical setting is preferred
Occupational Exposure :
Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
Job Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Strong team player
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Previous Customer Service experience
