Job descriptionUse dimensional measuring devices to ensure product meets job order specifications, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Enter all test results into company database and manage documents. Communicate quality issues with engineering, shipping and scheduling daily. Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. Participate in U.L. audits on a quarterly basis. Act as plant liaison to the Tech Center in regard to all QC functions. Conduct root cause analysis regarding quality issues, identify and implement appropriate corrective actions. Assist external and internal quality audits. Assist Production teams with process changes, quality plan documentation, and test requirement updates. Assist customer service and sales teams to respond to customer questions in relation to product capability and limitations. Help to drive continuous quality improvement and scrap reduction across the site. Perform quality assurance tests and visual inspections of raw materials, intermediary products, and finished goods per work instructions. Ability to train and lead Quality Technicians Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail. Ability to follow CWT's policies, procedures, and processes. Good communication, organization, and time management skills. Basic computer, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; ability to use a calculator. Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers). Team player able to follow instructions from both management and peers. Ability to learn and operate new equipment. Required : \n 2+ years related experience required. This position conducts its work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to some odors. Use of the following equipment in the course of the job duties : \n Power Tools. Dimensional measuring devices. Tape Measure. Moisture Meter. Forklift / Clamp Truck. Computer and Phone. Eye and hearing protection is required at all times on the production floor. Safety toe shoes (steel / composite) Hi-Vis Vests Other PPE as defined by management.

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a full time Quality Control Lead located in our Chandler, AZ Plant.
Job Summary :
Ability to perform various quality control test on products to verify that all products meet or exceed minimum UL Requirements. Ability to perform inspection on cutting lines, molding / expanding, and shipping departments to ensure quality products are produced and shipped out to the customer. Ability to train and lead Quality Technicians. Standard work week 40 hours a week with occasional overtime, no travel required.
