Billing Manager
As a Billing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our independent pharmacy by managing billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement procedures. This part-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare environment.
Examples of Duties
- Manage and submit insurance claims and billing documents accurately and on time
- Monitor reimbursements, denials, and payment trends
- Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with payers for timely collections
- Maintain compliance with all applicable billing regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with pharmacy and administrative staff to optimize workflow efficiency
- Provide oversight on cashflow for the pharmacy
- All other duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Experience with third-party insurance billing, Medicare / Medicaid, and prior authorizationsFamiliarity with billing codes and reimbursement procedures for pharmaciesExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAvailability to work at least 10 hours per week, with flexible schedulingSupplemental Information
