Division Manager (HEALTH SCIENCES ADM 1)
This position is responsible for the fiscal and operational management of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, one of the largest Divisions in the Department of Internal Medicine.
The Division is comprised of 30-clinical / research faculty, 11 non-faculty academics, 7 contractMSPphysicians, 20 clinical fellows, 21 volunteer and / or emeritus faculty, 7 administrative office staff, 5 clinical research staff and 3 basic science research staff.
This position has responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the academic offices, research units and administrative oversight of clinical activity in multiple inpatient and outpatient locations across the UC Davis system.
Responsibilities include : short-and long-term financial planning, analysis and reporting : developing and updating financial business plans;
strategic planning in conjunction with the Division Chief and Department Leadership; and preparing / managing an annual operating budget of approximately $38M. The incumbent also oversees
