Maintenance Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE

Performs various tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Performs tasks associated with maintaining mechanical systems throughout the facility.
• Works with and provides oversight to contractor personnel.
• Assists with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. Services and lubricates equipment as required.
• Participates in formal and on-the job training programs to acquire / broaden both technical and non- technical job skills; participates in cross training activities.
• Works rotating shift schedule and weekends as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Education : High School Diploma / GED

Additional Education : 2 years technical college in a related subject preferred

Required Computer and Software Skills : Effective computer and systems skills

Travel Requirements : Minimal
