Job descriptionContinuously update knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve service delivery. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and standards, including NC Alarm System License Registrant requirements. Extensive knowledge of fiber optic technology, telecommunications systems, and complex cable pathways. Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for managing client relationships and mentoring team members. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments. Comprehensive understanding of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72 code requirements as they apply to low-voltage and fire alarm systems. Familiarity with electrical safety standards and ability to interpret complex technical documentation. Knowledge of general building codes and local regulations impacting field service operations. Experience bending and running conduit, using digital multi-meters, and splicing. Ability to work in small spaces, at varying heights, and lift equipment up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely work on ladders for extended periods and comply with safety standards. Able to operate aerial boom lifts (3B) and scissor lifts (3A) safely and proficiently. High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training or certification highly regarded. Advanced technical certifications in relevant fields are highly preferred. Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Licensing and Compliance Requirements
Active participation in obtaining a NC Alarm System License Registrant is required. Management of the licensure process will be overseen to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
