• Mentoring and Leadership: Guide junior technicians through installations and decommissioning processes, utilizing your expertise to ensure successful project completion.
• Technical Oversight: Manage a wide array of telecommunications operations, including site preparation, material handling, and site restoration.
• Complex Installations: Lead intricate installations involving hardware, software, power, and fiber optic systems.
• Testing and Diagnostics: Execute comprehensive testing using tools like OTDR and BER testers, effectively troubleshooting any technical issues.
• Project Management: Oversee project logistics, monitor costs, and ensure tasks are completed promptly.
• Documentation: Accurately interpret installation standards and technical drawings to guarantee compliance and quality work.
• Site Coordination: Serve as the Site Team Leader, working closely with all project stakeholders to ensure efficient site operations.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

• Telcordia GR-1275 Familiarity: Thorough understanding of the Telcordia GR-1275 standard for high-quality installations.
• Telecommunications Equipment Experience: Proficient in using equipment such as DWDM, Cisco, Ciena, and Infinera.
• Power and Fiber Optics Knowledge: Strong knowledge of -48V power systems and fiber installation techniques.
• Tool Proficiency: Experienced in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized testing equipment.
• Safety Commitment: Strong dedication to safety practices and creating a secure work environment.
