Overview

FPGA Software Engineer - $140,000 | Madison, WI

Im working exclusively with a leading US manufacturer of professional audio equipment, trusted worldwide across film, TV, live events, and broadcast. I am looking for an FPGA Software Engineer to design and develop FPGA logic in VHDL and embedded software in C / C++ for advanced audio and wireless products. Youll be solving complex FPGA challenges including timing constraints, clock domain crossings, and software-defined radio (SDR) implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop FPGA logic in VHDL for production hardware
• Develop embedded software in C / C++ for Linux or RTOS environments
• Work on timing constraints, resolve timing issues, and manage clock domain crossings
• Work with device drivers and hardware-level protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
• Contribute to software-defined radio (SDR) implementations
