Job Summary : The Water Purification Technician / Installer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and service repairs on marine water maker units. This position will also be responsible for the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, service, and repair of marine water marker systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits for faults and open circuits
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks
• Join pipes or tubing to equipment and / or water or refrigerant source, to form a complete circuit
• Install new and reroute existing electrical as needed
• Reassemble and test equipment following repairs
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
• Layout and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician’s hand tools
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
• Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions
• Perform other related duties as required
• Willingness to learn troubleshooting, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems as needed based on business demands is a plus
