Job Description
We are looking for HVAC techs that are fresh out of school or super experienced! All ranges of techs needed.
HVAC Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. They ensure these systems function safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting and testing HVAC systems and components
- Identifying maintenance risks and addressing potential issues
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems that are malfunctioning
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Maintaining and repairing motors, pumps, condensers, boilers, heaters, and controls
- Assisting with customers’ queries and providing technical advice
- Preparing records and reports detailing work performed
- Respond to emergency calls for HVAC problems
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.Working knowledge of boiler systems.Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in confined spaces.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is a plusHigh School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.Requirements
Current and valid driver’s license; CFC Certification – Type I and II; Must possess knowledge of N.C. Mechanical and Electrical Codes; Neat and professional appearance; Clean criminal background; Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record; Ability to work independently; Able to pass random drug tests.
