Certifications : BLS, NRP, AWHONN

Must-Have :

NRP and Fetal Monitoring experience

Triage experience and baby nurse / transition experience

Comfortable initiating NRP for low to moderate risk deliveries

IV Start and Triage skills

Ability to float within the facility

Description :

The position involves caring for low to moderate risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, and postpartum patients and their newborns.

Responsibilities include triaging patients and providing medical screenings.

The role also requires circulating and recovering from C-sections.

The unit typically manages a patient ratio of 1 : 1 to 1 : 3.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.

Candidates must be willing to cover two out of three winter holidays.

Weekend coverage is required.

Applicants should have AWHONN Intermediate Certification and experience with EPIC charting.

Candidates will float within the hospital as needed.

No call is required for this position.
