Responsible for moving materials and components around the factory using carts, pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes. Follow job orders and blueprints to specifications. Responsible for machine set-ups, operations, and maintenance to meet production demands. Responsible for inspection and documentation of work to accurately meet specifications. Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials of various weights and lengths. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-production area with minimal supervision. Use problem-solving skills to stage and palletize loads in an efficient and cost-effective manner on outbound trailers. This includes skidding, banding, wrapping, and crating products in a way that saves space and time, and ensures loads are protected during transport. Inspect incoming / outgoing material for quality, dimensional accuracy, and correct quantities. All other duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to pass the truck and crane certification with training upon hire. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to read a blueprint. Ability to use hand tools requiring dexterity. Ability to climb portable ladders. Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision. Able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel, or crouch (5%), as required. Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout the shift. Able to wear hearing protectors (earplugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels.
