POWER BI developer (SQL)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Expert with strong SQL development skills to design, build, and optimize business intelligence dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations .
• Write complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and views to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
• Develop data models (Star / Snowflake schemas) and ensure efficient data relationships in Power BI.
• Optimize DAX calculations and Power Query transformations for performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and refresh scheduling through proper data governance practices.
• Integrate Power BI with databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, etc.) and cloud platforms.
• Manage report publishing, user access, and workspace configuration in the Power BI Service .
• Create documentation and provide training / support to end users.
