Subcontract Management Senior
You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of quality products to our customers, working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together.
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will lead an aggressive capacity effort across multiple suppliers and locations to ensure desired rates supporting the THAAD program are achieved on time or ahead of schedule. You will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, driving communication, expediting capacity schedules, and tracking overall program status. Your responsibilities will include :

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education,6+ years of professional experience,Previous professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments,Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and proceduresDesired Skills :
Experience managing supplier capacity efforts.Experience managing cost type subcontracts.Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting typesIn depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlinesExperience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)Aerospace program negotiation skills and experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressureExperienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representativeSelf Motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks / assignmentsStrong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of managementAbility to be flexible and accept changeMust be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skillsSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
